Good afternoon PSAC 555 membership.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Finance Meeting yesterday, and helped in the development of the 2022-23 academic year budget.

Our main objective as a Union should always be to ensure fair representation and the negotiations of good working conditions for our membership.

Thus, 70% of our budget is dedicated to Local Union Operations (such as advocating/ representation, mobilization, bargaining, and Union education).

And we were able to dedicate 30% to our community funds, such as our food card/bank program, hardship and medical program, professional development, scholarships, and now an international worker fund.

Please make sure you attend the AGM and vote on your budget.
