The Talking Union Basic (TUB) course -TALKING UNION BASICS introduces members to the PSAC, and prepares them for more advanced union education. It provides a historical and structural overview of the union, introduces participants to the collective agreement, and gives them a chance for hands-on practice in problem-solving.

This course will be delivered VIRTUALLY over 2 days. Please read the dates and times carefully.

Location: VIRTUAL
Session 1 – Monday, August 26th,  2024 – 9 AM to 5:00PM
Session 2 – Tuesday, August 27th,  2024 – 9 AM to 5:00PM

Upon successful completion of the course, members will be reimbursed as per approved policy.

Grievance Handling: gives new Faculty stewards essential knowledge for handling Level I Grievances. Participants gain a better understanding of how to work with members at the initial stages of the grievance procedure and how to mobilize members around workplace problems. New local stewards are encouraged to apply.

This in-person course will be delivered as a one day course in UA2230.  Please read the date and time carefully:
