Ontario Tech University Bargaining Update March 1, 2024

TA, RA, Invigilators

 

On February 29^th, 2024, the PSAC 555 TA, RA, and Invigilators Bargaining Team was in negotiations with Ontario Tech University.

 

Both teams met for the first time and developed a rapport that allowed for some dialogue.  The collective deliberations encompassed several non-monetary matters as presented by your Bargaining Team and by the Employer.  Your team subsequently formulated counterproposals. It is noteworthy that numerous issues are still pending discussion at the bargaining table, including topics of a monetary nature which are slated for consideration in forthcoming sessions.

 

Your team is well-prepared and committed to engaging in forthcoming bargaining sessions. We remain steadfast in our dedication to advancing the objectives outlined in your mandate. The pursuit of a fair and comprehensive collective agreement, one that faithfully reflects your interests at Ontario Tech University, is presently in motion.

 

Future bargaining dates have been set for March 11-12, and March 25-28, 2024.

 

On March 5^th, at 2:30 pm will be having a Mobilization Planning Meeting in room SHA357- Refreshments will be provided.
